Welcome to HBLRO Online
This site promotes the Hants and Berks Land Rover Owners Club and provides information on events past and present. For the last 29 years HBLRO has offered events for Land Rover enthusiasts in the Hampshire and Berkshire areas. The Club runs a variety of competition and open events ranging from trials through to driving days and green laning. If you are interested in joining a club that is friendly and sociable, that doesn't take life too seriously and whose main aim is to have fun in the pursuit of all things Land Rover, why not come and see us.

Please note that to cover additional manufacturing costs any clothing bought from the club shop with our "Team Hants & Berks" artwork on the back is now subject to an additional £3 on top of the usual retail price.

Spring Rally
Finally some sun !... we had a great time and hope you did to.
Thanks the the guys that set up the TYRO and RTV on Saturday, to Hugh Duffett
and his team for running a great event on Sunday, Paul and Zoe for cooking
up the burgers Sunday evening Steve and the team for running the TYRO on
the Monday.
Well done to Mark Furnell for winning the Dave Cuthbert Memorial trophy on Saturday and to Max Childs for winning TYRO on Monday.
Special big thanks to those members who stayed behind to help take the marquee down and tidy up...

Brick Kiln site closed until further notice
The Brick Kiln site remains closed until further notice due to the site being very very wet. This means that we are having to look else where for a venue for our July RTV - please watch the calendar

Safari Engineering Cup
Safari Engineering are kindly sponsoring a new award. This is presented to the driver with the best overall performance through the year Jan - Dec. This award will compliment the established Winter, Summer and class specific awards. Competitors can keep track of their performance as the year progresses. After each event the master score sheet will be amended and uploaded to the Safari Engineering Cup page on the web site. January's results are already posted. See how you are doing here….

AGM round up
The club welcomes new committee members Niall Banyard and Heather Joyce to the 2012/13 team. Niall has taken the role of camping and social secretary. Niall joins as a full committee member. Heather has taken the role of club shop over from Steve Aston.
A majority of the posts remained unchanged with very few nominations for the official roles on the committee. In Steve’s acceptance of the chairmanship he highlighted the need for new volunteers in these key positions. The committee urges that members consider becoming part of the management team in 2013/14. In order to develop confidence in the role, individuals will be offered mentoring and guidance to help with the transition and maintain consistency.

The 'Classifieds' are back!
Following many requests we have re-launched the classifieds page on this
web site - find the link on the menu to the left.
Obviously we are looking for genuine sellers with legitimate/safe parts.
The page will be moderated and any inappropriate posts will be taken down.
Any one entering into an agreement with a seller does so at their own risk
as a club cannot endorse or guarantee the quality of any of the parts listed.

Good results for team Hants & Berks at the Mendips Challenge RTV
Again the Mendips proved to be a great hunting ground for
team Hants & Berks. A very fine drive by Alan Braclik brought him overall
victory in class 4, with Mark Ambler taking 3rd overall in class 5 and a
great drive by Ashley Bartlett to scoop 2nd place in class 2 & 7 combined.jpg)

Magazine Archive web page launched
Finally its finished!
After hours of searching, scanning and up loading we have competed the magazine
archive web page. Find available every magazine (bar 2) from 1986 to the
present day. Thanks so much to Steve Kirby for digging up his mag collection
and scanning all the editions. Thanks to Steve Aston for then creating the
page and uploading all the files onto the web site.

How wet!
Thanks to all those that braved the rain today at Steep Marsh and a big
thanks to Nev and his team of marshall's for a fine job in such bad conditions.
Sorry that we were not able to complete all eight sections. The final blast
out of the site at the end of the day was truly something to remember. See
if you can guess which photo below shows the weather on Saturday and which
was Sunday !
