These guys started well, with the lightweight based special pulling the other vehicle out of the pond, but when the lightweight was on the receiving end of the the tow, his team mate was unable to pull him out.. After a lot of revving, the lightweight had dug itself a hole and the backend was well and truly stuck in. His team mate tried to push him, but that did not work. The only risky option left was to recover the lightweight backwards. If both vehicles got stuck in the pond it could spell disaster. Once the driver had excavated the rear tow point from the mud it was at such an angle that a rope would not stay on. At this point they called it a day. A tractor had no problem pulling them both out!
